"The Thinker"

I sat one day beneath the waters' fall
And asked myself what is and what is not?
And whilst I sat a strange thing did befall
I was encompassed in a mist of thought

Of many wonders did I vision then
Of time and space and beings from afar
And whilst I sat, with hand upon my chin
I understood the mystery of war

A peace filled me as never felt before
All death and life were clear before my eyes
But soon as it had come from me was tore
And everything beseemed to me foul lies...

Of many wonders did I vision then
Of time and space and beings from afar
But dreams of peace all faded quickly when
The waters of humanity ran dark

Not meant so soon for man to know the truth
For he himself still lingers in his youth
